A Trip to Chihkan

Yesterday my friend EJ and I went to Chihkan Tower and had a little adventure there. In fact, at first, I didn’t really feel like going there, not only because the weather was scorching hot, but also because I had to do some interview with local citizen or clerk. Therefore, I was not willing to go there, for I went there just for finishing my job to write a book for my university. However, when you have a friend, a trip would become interesting and make you become more passionate although you need to finish your mission. The first spot we visited was the famous Chihkan Tower. We asked some questions to the two clerks of the Chihkan Beverage store, which was at the left side of the entrance. They were very friendly and even gave us ice cream for free! After strolling around the Chihkan Tower, we went to Official God of War Temple and Tainan Grand Mazu Temple. The temple staffs weren’t that familiar with our class “exploring Tainan” so that their answers didn't really help. Then we went to Wu Wan Chun Incense Store, and the staff passionately introduced the shop’s secret to us, and he even brought us upstairs, letting us see the roof of the two temples, which was a unique experience. The last spot we visited was “RhaLife”, a store famous for its brown sugar. The clerk was friendly too, she told us a lot of the sugar, and she even said that it was welcome for the students to come to the shop and learn how the sugar was made. The trip then came to the end, and my interviews weren't that bad so that I could say the day was worth it.  I really had fun yesterday, and I really thanked my friend because she wanted to come with me.
